The Chamber Foundation operates exclusively to receive and administer funds for charitable and educational purposes to benefit the residents of Ann Arbor / Ypsilanti, Michigan region, and encouraging the development of business, educational, cultural and other community resources by means of programs that include, but are not limited to:

Business-Education Honor Roll  

The purpose of this program is to create a better understanding and appreciation of the importance of business people working hand-in-hand with your educational community toward a better understanding of that community. This program recognizes Chamber members that have formed at least one of the following business-education partnerships: (1) release employees with pay for a minimum of 8-hours per year to volunteer in the K-12 schools and/or participate in the various school-to-work programs available. (2) host students in their company through a job shadowing or internship program. (3) contribute cash or in-kind supplies to K-12 schools.  Join the Business-Education Honor Roll.

E3 Award Program  

The purpose of this program is to promote business and community growth and development by promoting educational programs designed to strengthen and expand the skill level and income potential of all within the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti area. This program recognizes educational programs and/or educators in the local K-12 schools (Ann Arbor, Lincoln, Willow Run, & Ypsilanti) that deserve to be emulated in other K-12 schools.
