Introductions to class members and the program. Class photos will be taken at this time.
IMPACT 2026

- Half Day
PURPOSE:
Educational half-day forum on current community issues, running morning through lunch.
RETREAT
- October 28 & 29, 2026
- Weber's Inn, Ann Arbor (Overnight stay optional)
PURPOSE:
Assess and develop leadership. Understanding what we bring to the party of community leaders. Connecting with your classmates.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DAY
- November 11, 2026
- 9 AM - 5 PM
PURPOSE:
Where is the economic growth engine? Government, Academic and Community impact on economic growth.
COMMUNITY SERVICES/NON-PROFIT DAY
- December 9, 2026
- 9 AM - 5 PM
PURPOSE:
Discover the resources available in our community. Where are the gaps? What are the volunteer opportunities that are available?
LOCAL GOVERNMENT DAY
- January 13, 2027
- 9 AM - 5 PM
PURPOSE:
Understanding governmental levels and how their decisions impact our basic services.
HEALTH CARE DAY
- March 10, 2027
- 9 AM - 5 PM
PURPOSE:
Health Care services delivery - challenges and successes.
JUSTICE DAY
- April 14, 2027
- 9 AM - 5 PM
PURPOSE:
From breaking the law to incarceration, release or rehabilitation.
LEADERSHIP IN ACTION DAY
- May 7, 2027
- 9 AM - 5 PM
PURPOSE:
Working with a local non-profit organization to give back to our community.
QUALITY OF LIFE DAY
- May 12, 2027
- 9 AM - 5 PM
PURPOSE:
Quality of Life is different for everyone. Understanding the importance of rich community offerings that range from arts and cultural activities to museums, recreation, and sports.
GRADUATION DAY
- June 2, 2027
- 9 AM - 5 PM
PURPOSE:
Certified Tourism Ambassador™ training, celebration, closure, and feedback.
