Leslie Science & Nature Center creates a space for our community to come together, to share, to wonder, and to explore nature. LSNC has been part of your southeastern Michigan community for almost 30 years. As a non-profit we provide programs and opportunities to over 60,000 individuals each year with the support of our community through individual donations, grants and corporate giving. Through innovative nature and science based educational programs for schools, scouts, individuals and groups, we educate and inspire children, adults and communities to discover, understand, and respect their natural environment.
Our site is a destination for corporate outings, meetings, family picnics and more! We house eighteen raptors in open air enclosures; a reptile and small mammal collection; miles of trails, and a green building that incorporates recycled materials, solar energy and composting toilets. We welcome you to come explore our grounds, which are free and open to the public 365 days a year. Stop by and get to know your community nature center!
